Privacy Policy
Metaobject Manager "the App” provides tools for managing metaobject data within a Shopify store. These tools, hereby referred to as "the Service", are provided to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how Shopify store information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Information the App Accesses
When you install the App, it is able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account. For full transparency this data, the access level and what the data is used for is outlined in the table below:

| Products | Read-only | This app requires access to products to establish relationships with metaobject data. It requires product access only when a metaobject in your store has a defined product relationship. It will not modify product data. |
| Files | Read-only | This app requires access to files (images and other regular files) to establish relationships with metaobject data. It requires file access only when a metaobject in your store has a defined file or image relationship. It will not modify file data. |
| Metaobject Definitions | Read/ Write | The app reads metaobject definition information and stores it in order to display, export and import data. At this point in time the a metaobject definition cannot be modified within the App, this feature will be available in future versions. |
| Metaobject Data | Read/ Write | The app requires read/ write access to metaobject data to display, export and import this data. |
Other technologies:
- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- Log files track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. These log files are securely stored on our servers.
Sharing Personal Information
Personal information is not shared with third parties in any way. As noted in the previous section customer data cannot be accessed and therefore is not stored in the App, nor shared with third parties.
Finally, we may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Your Rights
You have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Data Retention
Metaobject data will be stored in our system until you uninstall the app or after 90 days of inactivity, whichever comes first.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
